Play with 32 cards from Seven to Ace. Each player receives five cards. One face-up card sets trump.
Starting after the dealer, each player chooses Join or Sit out. At least two players must join each round.
Follow the suit led and play higher if you can. If you have none of that suit, play a trump. The highest trump wins the trick; with no trump, the highest card of the suit led wins.
Everyone starts at 15 points. Each trick you take removes one point. Join but take no trick and you gain five. The first to reach zero or below wins.
